The MY ASICS training program was created at the Asics Institute of Sport Science in Kobe, Japan, based on the results of run performance research done on runners who ranged from beginner to experienced.
These results told us that many runners were training too much. We took this into consideration and created our program to help you achieve your goals in the most effective manner. We recommend you relax and train while following the MY ASICS program. This is why we don't have plans that schedule runs for more than 4 days per week.
However, you are the one who knows your body the best. Always take your body's condition into consideration and adjust the amount of training you do accordingly.
